We are looking for a Operators to join our team in Raleigh, NC! The primary responsibility of the Heavy Equipment Operator is to safely Operate/drive equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, concrete, asphalt, or other hard surface pavement on road beds and dirt/earth surfaces in a safe manner.

White Oak Land Services is currently hiring for a utility foreman with experience leading water, sewer, and storm utility crews. Applicants must be willing to learn, possess a positive attitude, and, as required by the project, an openness to flexible responsibilities. “`Duties – Assist with various tasks on construction sites, including but not limited to: -Performing water and sewer taps, -Installing water, sewer, and storm pipe and structures – Cleaning and organizing work areas – Loading and unloading materials – Assisting skilled workers as needed – Following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines “`Requirements“` -Ability to operate equipment – Ability to read site plans – Proficiency in using construction management software such as Builder Trend a plus – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – Ability to work independently or as part of a team – Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Class A CDL Driver
White Oak Land Services is currently hiring for a driver with a CDL to handle moving equipment, trailers, and other materials to and from its jobs throughout the Triangle. The driver should be willing to not only move equipment, but will also have the opportunity to operate the equipment in service of White Oak’s ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to work within a team, a desire to learn, and an ability to be self-directed to find efficiencies to ensure the equipment can be delivered to each job timely.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a commercial vehicle and follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving equipment to and from each job
– Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
– Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation regulations
Skills:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
– Experience driving various types of vehicles, such as dump trucks
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
– Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to plan routes effectively
